Marco Parentela
Marco Parentela is an Italian interior and yacht designer working between Italy and Switzerland.
He specialises in luxury residential interiors, private villas and custom yacht interiors, as well as product and furniture design, creating crafted, highly resolved spaces for discerning international clients.
Foundations
Born in Bologna in 1984, Marco graduated from Scuola Italiana Design in Padova in 2007 and began his career as a product designer at 3F Filippi refining his eye for technical detail and industrial quality.
In 2009 he joined Visionnaire Home Philosophy, where for seven years he contributed to luxury interior design projects and collections for an international clientele, refining his sensitivity to proportion, materiality and atmosphere.
Yacht Interiors
In 2016 he moved into the world of nautical design with Centrostiledesign, becoming Chief Yacht Interior Designer and leading interior projects for brands such as Sunseeker, Azimut, Sanlorenzo and Sessa Marine.
During this period, his yacht interiors and layouts contributed to award-winning projects, including the Foiling Award 2019, the Yacht & Aviation Award 2020 and the Best Layout Award in Cannes 2021, consolidating his reputation in luxury yacht interior design.
Today · luxury interiors in Switzerland and Italy
In 2021 Marco relocated to Switzerland to collaborate as Senior Interior Designer with Tognola Group in Lugano, focusing on high-end residential and commercial interior design across Switzerland and Italy.
Today, through his own OPP Design Studio, he brings together this experience in yachting, furniture and product design to create luxury interiors environments where beauty, function and innovation quietly coexist, tailored to each client’s way of living.
